The coronavirus has shaken the world within a matter of a few weeks. With the number of people infected rising on a daily basis, medical staff and governments are doing everything they can to keep the general public safe. One such method is by enforcing a lockdown and promoting social distancing.
Keeping in mind the pandemic, a majority of employees are working from home. We are uncertain as to when the government will lift the lockdown. But, keeping in mind employee safety, Google employees have been told to work from home until the end of the year.
Other tech companies are following the same trends –
- Amazon employees to be working from home until October
- Slack employees to be working from home until September
- Like Google, Facebook employees will also not return to office until 2021
In such unprecedented times, companies are trying their best to keep up with the shifts in consumer behavior without compromising with employee health.
